Review: Bqueen Crochet Hook

~ This review contains my honest opinion, I was not financially compensated for it ~

Let me introduce you to this beauty!

Isn't she gorgeous?

During summer break I scoured the big Etsy marketplace for new hook designs and found a lovely husband-wife team with gorgeous hooks in their shop: Bqueen.

So after a hit on the "buy" button a beautiful box was delivered to my doorstep with a stunning Queen crochet hook in size G.

I tested it with the Fenna yarn I showed you a couple of weeks ago.

It glides heavenly into my work. No snagging, no rasping. It works beautifully.

So after a few weeks of testing (I had to go up a size for a project unfortunatly so I am not using it right now) I have come to the following conclusions:

Pros:
- Extremely polished and smooth
- I love the thumb rest. You can either choose for a whole round hook or with a thumb rest.
- It is just a stunning piece of work.

Cons:
- It is not cheap. But if I consider other hooks in the same price range this one is much much better. It is quality work.
- I think this one is a bit too long for me so in the future I would take care to order a hook a tad shorter.
- Because it is wood and because it is expensive this is not a hook I would toss in my bag for crochet on the go.... And that is mostly my crochet time...

Overall I really recommend checking out Makenzie's store. They have a lot of other styles and options available!
