Pattern: Crocheted Dishcloths

General information

This pattern is written in US Crochet terms. (There is a mistake in the English pdf!! I will fix it tomorrow, it should say "Ch 37" in the pink dishcloth pattern!)

Skill level: Beginner

Special Stitches

Bpdc: Yarn over, insert hook from back to front to back around post of stitch to be worked, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook] 2 times

Fpdc: Yarn over, insert hook from front to back to front around post of corresponding stitch below, yarn over and pull up loop [yarn over, draw through 2 loops on hook] 2 times

Abbreviations

Ch: chain (yoh, pull through)

Sl st: slip stitch (insert hook in stitch, yoh and pull through stitch and loop on hook)

Sc: single crochet (insert hook in stitch, yoh, pull through stitch (two loops on hook), yoh and pull through

both loops)

Dc: double crochet (yoh, insert hook in stitch, yoh, pull through stitch, *yoh, pull through two loops* two

times)

Tr: treble (yoh twice, insert hook in stitch, *yoh hook, pull through two loops*three times)

Notes

Working with kitchen cotton can be tiring for your hands, wrist and fingers. Take frequent breaks if you need to, don’t overdo it!.

Dishcloths can be washed hot or on 60 degrees Celsius in your washing machine.

Materials

Crochet hook used 4.5 mm. I crochet very loose so I would recommend using 5 mm or up if you crochet

tightly.

Yarn: 2 balls Sugar n Cream, 1 ball makes 1 dishcloth..

Pattern

Yelllow dishcloth

Repeat row 2- 5 7 times.

  3. I just found your dishcloth on Pinterest and had to click on over to find the patterns. I really enjoy crocheting and knitting, and I especially enjoy smaller projects like these that can be finished quickly. Thanks for sharing your patterns. I will be re-pinning this onto my crochet board.

    Have an awesome day.
